Centre for Dalit Studies (CDS) has organized a felicitation program for newly elected SC-ST Members of Telangana Legislative Assembly on 23rd of February 2019.
Program was Presided by Mallepalli Laxmaiah, Chairperson, CDS and Hon’ble Minister for Welfare, Telangana State, Mr.Koppula Eshwar, Hon’ble Minister for Agriculture Minister, Mr.Singireddy Niranjan Reddy and Opposition legislative Party leader Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu were being the chief Guests of the event. The MLA’s Present there were, Balka Suman, Hanmanth Shinde, Ravi Shankar Sunke, Balakrishna Rasamayi, Kranti Kiran Chanti, Koninty Manik Rao, Kale Yadaiah, Dr.Anand Methuku, V M Abraham, Guvvala Balaraju, Gadari Kishore Kumar and Dr.Thatikonda Rajaiah.

Mr.Mallepalli Laxmaiah has congratulated all the newly elected SC-ST MLA’s and honored them with a book of Baba Saheb Ambedkar Pictorial Biography.

Hon’ble Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy has mentioned that the caste system should be completely removed from India and Inter caste marriages are one of the best way of making it possible as Ambedkar Said.
